States of Matter

Type this paragraph:

Matter
by Your Name

There are three states of matter, and each is usually measured in a different way.  A solid has a particular shape and is measured by finding the mass of the object.  A liquid has no particular shape, so it is poured into a measuring container to determine volume.  A gas has no definite shape, so it is measured by cubic units of the amount of space it takes up in a closed container.

Spell Check - F7

Read your paragraph thoroughly - or have someone else read it.

Edit your paragraph if necessary.

Format your paragraph as follows:

bulletTitle - 30 points, bold, centered
bulletBy line - 20 points, centered
bulletParagraph - 16 points, double-spaced

  2. Switch to your Word document, right-click and choose "paste"
  3. On the picture toolbar, click the wrapping tool (dog) and choose "square"
