Introduction

Using the links above, find information about the Southeast Asian country of your choice and then prepare a PowerPoint presentation so that you can share the information you find with your teacher and classmates.

The Process

Plan your trip. Use the storyboard (available here). (Download by right-clicking and choosing "Save Target As" - Also, print it as handouts, 3 slides per page to give students a great place to record their research.)  (Sample presentation available here.)

FIRST: Use the links above to complete your research, filling out the storyboard completely.

Next, complete your presentation, including the following slides:

  1. Title slide:
    Exploring _____________ __
(type the name of the country)
    by
    Your Name
  2. Flag - Flag description and a picture of the flag
  3. Capital - type a brief phrase about the capital
  4. Geography - Climate, terrain, elevation extremes
  5. People - Population, nationality, ethnic groups, religions
  6. Economy - type a couple of short phrases about the Economy (optional as an extra slide)
  7. Sources - Cite your sources (Keep track of the sites you visit by adding them to your Favorites)

Extra slides can be added if you get done early - Do one on the background of your country or on the government.
