Choose one of the artists listed in the table below for your report

Your report should be at least six (6) slides using Microsoft PowerPoint

bullet

Your report should include but should not be limited to the following information about your artist:

Assignment:  Using Microsoft PowerPoint, create a minimum of six (6) slides:

1.) A title slide, which includes:

bullet

Where and when your artist was born and died, his nationality, etc.

6.) A bibliography slide citing your sources

Procedure

  1. Do all of your research first & write notes for each slide on the storyboard handout you are given (download here) (Use only the Web Sites you are told to use – for your safety)

  2. Launch PowerPoint

  3. Save your presentation in a folder you create called: “Art History - ___ Hour” in the My Documents folder

Name the file: “Art History - YourFirstName YourLastName

Note: Failure to save your presentation in this way will result in your presentation not being graded

  4. Complete all the typing first (NO COPYING AND PASTING FROM THE INTERNET INTO YOUR PRESENTATION WILL BE ALLOWED except for the web addresses where you got your information)

  5. Spell check

  6. Copy and paste a picture of your artist on your 2nd slide

  7. Copy and paste examples of your artist's work on the 4th slide - Successes

  8. Complete your Sources slide using the examples on the storyboard

  9. Apply a Design Template (You may need to adjust the position and/or size of text on the slides after you do this, so look through each slide carefully and make adjustments as necessary.)

  10. Create transitions between slides

  11. Create a self-running presentation with timings

If you are unsure as to how to do each of the above steps, please refer to the PowerPoint Skills section below.

NOTE:  You are responsible for preparing and presenting the final nomination presentation.  Your art teacher will be grading your presentation, so do your best.
