Creating Your Own Ad

You will work as a media consultant to design one of two types of advertisements: one which parodies another ad, or an ad which helps consumers recognize how they are being manipulated by advertisements.

You will use Microsoft^® Word's desktop publishing features to create your advertisement.

Requirements - 

• Create a print ad which makes use of at least one of the persuasive appeals and one of the persuasive claims explained in previous lessons.
• The ad may parody another popular ad, or you may create an ad to help consumers recognize how they are being manipulated.
